Busy bees

A(nother) busy old day today. Day 2 of our new phlebotomy call centre and, whilst that is working beautifully, the 'urgent' requests coming from outpatient clinics was making the department itself relatively hectic.

Social distancing means we can only have 9 patients in our waiting room and the rest have to wait in main Outpatients. That resulted in a lot of patients not really knowing what was going on so I took a bit of a comms role, explained to patients what was going on and knocked up a quick poster to help. I did get to take it down once we'd got on top of it all.
