Love in a Mist

After my very poor, late, emergency blip of this flower a few days ago, I thought I ought to make a better attempt at photographing it.  I brought the pot into the kitchen, mounted the camera on a tripod and made a limited focus stack ensuring all the blue petals were in focus, but allowing some of the spikey leaves (if that's what they are) to drift out of focus.

This is really what I should have done the other night, but I was too tired after the journey and it was too late to be messing about like this.
