Mummy, we really aren’t sure about this

My friend had been coppicing and was using the wood to make perches for her hens. I thought this a great idea and she kindly gave me several large branches. My chickens aren’t so sure. I think they think it is rather too high (about 4ft off the ground). I’ve been putting them in and they just look unimpressed and fly down. Ah well, I’ll just have to think of some other run enrichment.
