Calne Town Gardens (Tuesday 28th July 2020)

I called the roofers back to sort out a few minor niggles, and they came yesterday, the first dry day since we spoke. I think their part in the proceedings is now over. The changes were insufficiently dramatic to warrant a blip so this was taken as I returned from the town centre. The town council gardeners do a pretty good job.

Patti Smith's version of Them's Gloria began with an uncredited original piece before breaking into Gloria. It might be called Somebody's Sins, at least that is what Tricky has called it on the album False Idols, a track I discovered on this day.
