Direct from the soil

These are the first two courgettes (zucchini) from our garden.  We went for the yellow variety this year. Dishwasher gave up just as family are due to arrive, so an emergency purchase was called for.  P&J came for drinks and we had a lovely couple of hours just shooting the breeze.
