Harvest

We have been getting much of our salad needs from the raised beds, but today we took our first pull of veg from them.
The carrots and peas joined a homemade meat pie as our main course, first extra a windfall apple pie and dates (A Mrs A S made up recipe) and 2nd extra is a Courgette cake awaiting icing.
Walked the canal today still six cygnets :(   then streamed the boundaries and thinned more apples that the trees are not getting enough water to mature.
