Trealaw cross

Finally made the trip to the Valleys to visit our family. We haven't seen my grandparents since October!
We are going to surprise them tomorrow for their 60th wedding anniversary with a visit.
Spotted this intriguing sight of a cross on Trealaw mountain from my cousin's back garden.
It was a promise made between two friends that they would commemorate whoever passed away first.
Apparently it's a common area for ashes of loved ones to be scattered too.
