Captain of the ferry

What a glorious day today, in more ways than one!

The weather was perfect, clear skies, about 28 degrees and a gentle breeze. Perfect to go and stand at the front of the Public Ferry, as I crossed back to the West Bank, from Luxor.

Meet our new and youthful Captain, that is Abd Rahman. A mere 25years old and already, after a few months in the post, very confident and enjoying being on the river Nile.
The real test was the berthing of such a large vessel, with so many people onboard. Some Captains, glide in and gently nudge the moorings, other thunder in and 'Crash' into the battered steel structure, where passengers exit.
I can happily say, the landing was a gentle nudge and I congratulated (And thanked) him for it 'Mia Mia' I exclaimed, 100%
