Moving, or just playing?
My 1st July blip showed when a shipload of these towers arrived, jackets for the Moray Firth offshore windfarm. A week back, another shipload arrived, and you wondered where they were going to store those. Much tidying and lining up ensued.
Now, do you see the green barge in front of the red ship? Two of the towers have been loaded onto it from the big red ship. First, the barge was towed out to the anchorage offshore by one tug, a distance of some 5 miles. After a couple of hours it was towed back in by three tugs, back to its start point where you see it now.
Next it was moved about 100 yards to the left of the picture, to be unloaded. That seemed like an awful lot of huffing, puffing and mileage to go 100 yards. Though I'm sure there was an entirely logical reason.
