Art and Family

Today started at midnight, as we got home from the station with my sister Caroline and niece Grace  Everyone was tired but after a day of waiting, alternatively a day of travelling, a cup of tea, a cheese sandwhich, a newly-baked scone were welcome. So, it was soon after 1 o'clock we all retired to our beds.
It was a slow start to the day, and the rain sluicing down didn't encourage outdoor activity, though Jan was baking bread and biscuits before breakfast. Eventually we got out and went to look at a group of artists who were holding open-house at their studios, workrooms, or homes. This blip shows us, and a work that consists of glass plates wired to reinforcing frame. Relatively simple and fun to see.
