Roman Head Sculpture

This Terra cotta Head sits in a Studio at the bottom of our garden
It gazes out through the window at the raspberry patch and the Crab apple trees.
Without the convenience of a camera ,Romans of the Republic believed the head was sufficent to constitute a portrait.!!!
