My musical career is reaching new highs as I play my way through this highly complex tune (it isn’t).

I desperately want to race ahead and get into the meatier stuff, but know that it’s key to get the basics done and mastered first. Walk before you can run etc.

It hasn’t stopped me purchasing the easy piano (it isn’t) version of the Hamilton book. Wondering if I need to set myself a new goal of being able to play a flawless version of ‘Wait for It’ by the end of the year?

Given the song title, I like the irony and I also like having something to work towards…..so yeah, OK. By the end of the year, I will have learned how to play ‘Wait for It’.

Best get back to practicing…
