Pete and Ben

These two boys are two of the most incredible people I have met and got to know at University. I've lived with Ben since first year an with Pete since second year and my University experience really wouldn't have been the same with out them!

Today was a strange day. I've been so focused on Mark leaving PhotoSoc this week that I kept on forgetting that today would also be my last campaign for Oxfam as the official Campaigns Officer. It has been stressful at times but it has been so worth it! I've been able to work with some very passionate people which has been a lot of fun!

I would say the campaign today was the best one we've done so far with the ATT one with Amnesty coming a close second. We staged a Land Grab on campus by stealing the Koan. We then got kicked off of the Koan by security which is slightly ironic apparently we were destroying a classical music concert. I understand that obviously it was the people's job to kick us off and they were very understanding by the end but it is very frustrating when they claim to support our causes don't want us to disturb business men on conferences.
Anyway it was a fun day and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves!

Later on in the evening I went to photosoc elections which was fun. Then for a meal and ended the night in Smack. I think Mark and the other exec have done a fantastic job this year. I think they should be very proud!
