Taking a rest!

I have also backblipped yesterday's Ghostly dots ....... hope you will have a look ..... thanks to those who already have :-)

Hot, hot, hot! 34C & even the breeze is warm!

This Dragonfly .... a female Common Darter (I think) ...... was finding flying around rather too hot & decided to have a rest! :-)

I had spotted it flitting around the garden from the kitchen window ....... grabbed the camera & went to see if I could get a photo!

It obliged by landing on one of the Buddleia (almost ex) flowers ....... luckily it stayed there long enough for me to get a few photos ....... hope you like it :-)

Hard to believe it is the last day of July! This year seems to be passing so quickly!

Just heard that some of the lockdown restrictions that were due to be eased tomorrow will not happen & shielding is being extended by at least two weeks as there has been a rise in cases! Masks will be compulsory in other venues from 8th August ...... just hope doing this helps to stem the rise!
