Happy birthday almost

A significant part of our decison of the dates of our travel south was based on the fact that it is my mother's 90th birthday - tomorrow in fact. An ealry startt from near Calrisle and we met up with DS~1, DS#2 and Charlotte A in a random (and somewhat disapppointing) Cheltenham pub before heading on the old family home for tea and birthday celebrations as well as the obligatory family photo.. Muted on account of Covid but good to catch up and to admire the garden. The chef provided a carrot cake which went down well.
A quick stroll on a local hill before heading on to Surrey and to Tricia's other siter, L, for the night.
