It took a surprising amount of time to get ready for our short trip away , the journey through the Peak District was as lovely as ever despite the snails pace we travelled at due to following an iron girder being transported on the back of a lorry . 

We spent time admiring the lovely Florence , she is such a cheerful , happy little girl and then took an evening stroll in warm sunshine . 

The clarity of the reflections in the water caught my eye as we walked along a small stream that runs near the house . It has been known to overflow and flood the adjacent houses but this evening it was a series of small pools .

Looking forward to the heat promised for tomorrow.!
