WFH Day #90

FRIDAY

We woke up to the new regional "lockdown". I listened to Matt Hancock's justification on R4 Today whilst running 7.5 km on the treadmill so at least it wasn't a complete waste of my time.

Spent a shorter than usual day in the home office with a break at noon to hear Boris's latest announcements and then a long mid-afternoon lunch with a walk down the lane to  my butterfly corner. Temperatures were hovering around 30°C and the butterflies were in abundance.

As the politicians have been contradicting themselves on some of the finer points of the latest coronavirus restrictions, I'm still waiting to see the details of the regulations which don't yet (9 pm) seem to have been published on the government website.
