Asymptotic

(No, not asymptomatic, but the mathematical way in which you only ever to seem to get half way to finishing anything.)

The new carpet went down yesterday (actually there's so much of it , it took two fitters 3 days...).  The runner on the stairs really pulls the whole decor together (he says with a degree of relief).

Just waiting on the local artist's hand-printed wallpaper for the last bit of decorating upstairs. So now it's time to start on the next asymptotic job of getting furniture, pictures, shelves, doorknobs, closers, etcetera back in place again.

But the Pink has gone - and there was much rejoicing.
