Bellflower
What a difference a day makes! Thursday's incessant rain gave way to a warm, dry day on Friday. It didn't turn out as 'scorchio' as forecast, though, and was more of a muggy, hot day than a sunny one. [Nice little thunderstorm and downpour to end the day, though!]
Decided to take advantage of the conditions to take a slightly longer walk than usual. Walked along the main road towards Denny, then headed up Drove Loan and made my way over to Little Denny Reservoir. A path around that reservoir to another road and up to Drumbowie Reservoir, and then Kelt Road / Braeface Road to Banknock and home. Sounds (and felt) longer than 10km, but it was just fine and I was quite glad that the predicted 25° temperature didn't materialise.
Spotted this peach-leaved bellflower along the way and thought that would do for my wildflower Blip for the week.
