Mary Arden's House

Having these amazing historic houses on my doorstep seems too good an opportunity to miss.

Until about 13 years ago this was thought to be the house where Shakespeare's mother had lived and a thriving tourist attraction has built up around the working tudor farm on the site.

In 2000 however, it was discovered that the house had belonged to a friend and neighbour Adam Palmer and was renamed Palmer's Farm.

It's still a beautiful building and I thought a bit of sepia antique effect would do it justice.
