BLESSED DAY
We have been worried about our dear friend Mr. Holden for a week now. He thought he had been exposed to a person with COVID19 several weeks ago.He had no symptoms but was tested and has been quarantined at home. Today he got his test results...negative. What a relief it was to hear from him. We have new tenants moving in tomorrow. The hot water heater leaked and we have to replace the whole kitchen floor. The new tenants have been notified and we removed the floor this evening, New wood and vinyl will be put down tomorrow and all appliances and sink and cabinets will be reinstalled. It is gong to be tight! We spent half the day doing storm prep for Isaias. It is due here on Tuesday. It has been a very stressful time but the good news from Mr. Holden has lifted our spirits and we are ready to face these other challenges. Feeling Blessed once again.
We saw this deer family on the island today when we made a trip to make sure all was secure in case the storm lands on our doorstep. First fawn I've seen there this year I think.
Stay safe my friends.
