West Lynn bicycle lane

Afternoon walk; getting near to restarting the jogging. Out for an hour. Through West Lynn where the cycle lane is now functional. It has not needed a great deal of construction; mainly painting to delineate it and to have a separation from cars. For a considerable time work was halted due to vociferous opposition to the loss of street parking. As the photo shows, the Council ultimately conceded and narrowed the central gap between the traffic, allowing the cycle lane to constructed and parking to be retained.
