More cliffs

Different cliffs today.  The fields up to them are quite often occupied by cows, calves and a bull.  Recently they have had a hay crop growing on them.  Both are good reasons not to go tramping through them!  

Today the gate was open and the hay was lying, drying in the sun, so Lottie and I had a steepish walk up to the top.  A stunning view, out to The Altar, a rock formation with arches underneath it, which you can walk out to as it's still attached at the top.  To get out of the field though, you've first got to negotiate the electric fence!  You can apparently take a small boat through the arches if you catch the tide at the right height.  A trip for another day!
