Jane invited us to their holiday cottage at Threlkeld for the evening. This included a fish and chip supper which Jason drove into Keswick to buy. Afterwards we walked up the road towards the mining museum and I got a few photos of some of the old machinery stored in the area just beyond the gate. Not wanting to be told off for trespassing we retraced our steps and explored the old railway line which has a permitted right of way along it.
