Expedition
It bucketed all morning, very serious rain. I cross stitched, making and correcting mistakes. Not much progress there.
Early afternoon the rain stopped and #3 son, #1 girlfriend and I went to KL. (Meanwhile #2 son, still en route, texted to say he was in Dubai and had met a woman who used to teach at the Port in the immigration queue. Small world!)
Back to the expedition. #3 son had seen a bus, a U7, but we failed to find it and took an expensive, off meter, taxi to KLCC. It's the start of the Chinese New Year holiday, few taxis. A couple of shots of the Twin Towers then a slow hot walk to Bukit Bintang for a western meal. Then more hot walking to find, a U7, which we took. Big mistake, it may only have the equivalent of 40p each but an hour later we'd gone about a mile and it took over an hour and a half to get home, by which time it was dark. On a bus, not knowing where we were going. An expedition indeed but KL Rapid, not.
On our walk we passed the Kirk and got a view of the KL Tower.
Some of us went for noodles. The 2 intrepid travellers stayed home and watched last Sunday's 'Top Gear'. The series starts here next week.
I wish I'd brought the internet radio though, especially now there are chairs on the balcony.
