Historic Cowshed

On a visit to St Fagans National History Museum, about 4 miles from my home in Cardiff, I snapped this 200 year-old cowshed which once stood in Snowdonia.

Like all the historic buildings at St Fagans, the cowshed was carefully taken apart on its original site, every piece numbered, transported to the museum, and expertly reconstructed.

This cowshed is built using large boulders, as is the nearby Llainfadyn Cottage which also comes from Snowdonia.
