Glenfinnan Viaduct

Of course the place was heaving. Paula climbed to viewpoint. Karen, drone shots, which were amazing. Permission granted from The Estate Manager Alistair Gibson, who I remembered meeting on a Young at Heart walk, many years ago. He arrived in his Land Rover, and we had a great chat to him.  Great chap and so friendly, Karen gladly paid the relatively low  fee, to help with all the admin.  Warm morning, then on to Arisaig, Keppoch and Morar, where we were horrified, to find irresponsible parking, and tents on all the beaches!!! Ended up in Mallaig, Drove round the bay to view point, where there was some parking and peace.  Made the most of a day which ended up very wet and windy, contrary to the forecast for a warm sunny day.  That's Lochaber for you.  Always lovely whatever the weather.
