That Awkward Age...

This harassed Mum is keeping her eye on seven ducklings. In two days they have grown from sticking close to her, to shooting off in all directions like a box of fireworks someone has exposed to a match. While one is trying to scramble up the bank, another is exploring some weeds, four have gone completely off piste under a bridge and this one (the one she thought she had under some kind of Lockdown supervision) suddenly took off like roadrunner.
