Vehicle rally
The annual vehicle rally which raises money for our local hospice was cancelled in May due to lockdown. It raises a lot of money for the hospice and they have been struggling, so today a “vehicle run” went ahead. Not as many vintage cars and motorbikes as normal, but quite a good turnout, especially as the main road to the nearest town was closed for roadworks! Everybody in the vehicles was very cheery and waving, and I liked the smile on this tractor driver’s face as he came up the hill. A collage of other vehicles in extras if you care to look. That whiled away a good half hour, and was a good opportunity to chat to other villagers who were lining the route.
