Great time wandering down memory lane this morning. We took a stroll through Lingwood Common & Blake’s Wood and came across the school I taught in for quite a few years. It’s in an idyllic setting in the middle of woodlands (see extra). Then on to the Warren where our eldest held her wedding celebrations, Twitty Fee & then up to Danbury. We settled in the churchyard. It might seem a tad morbid but we looked out on the resting place of many friends made over the years (see extra). And I had the tremendous privilege of officiating at a number of services for these good folks, so lots of memories of friends and neighbours here. We are now well and truly done in, both physically and emotionally, but a good time this morning, all in the space of a 7 mile stroll.
