Excellent Edith

It was lovely to see my friend Edith and her dog Alfie out and about today walking in the same place and the same time of year as I photographed them 3 years ago.

We've been a little worried as Edith, in her late 80's, has had a couple of falls lately, and has been instructed to rest.  We have still been seeing Alfie though (and getting updates on Edith) thanks to supportive friends in the Hadstock community who have been walking him.

It was a real boost to see them both out and about again today and have a proper face to face catch up.  Her friends and family have been great and she's on the mend.
