We laid a good friend to rest after the service this morning and then I joined the family for a socially distanced meal in a restaurant. It was good to spend some time with them and the meal was great. It all felt a touch more normal.

Back home late afternoon and I fell asleep almost immediately! I haven't woken up properly and had to force myself outside for a blip. I spotted this knot in the wood and didn't take anything any better. Actually, it feels quite fitting for a friend who was full of love. As you can see, I had a little play with the photo, mainly to cover the fact it wasn't as sharp as it should have been! I quite like the overall effect now though.
