Ullswater harebells

After my usual routine of poor sleep I ended up frittering the day away with not a lot. A bit of tidying and watching the now familiar police activity over the road, I went to see if my elderly neighbour was okay and if she wanted any shopping. We both agreed we had become somewhat disturbingly inured to it all. I’ve got to the point that when it’s quiet I think something must be wrong and finding the disruption oddly reassuring.
I went to do the shopping and had planned to think of somewhere to walk but by that time it was already mid-afternoon and I couldn’t be bothered so I came back home and went for a cycle ride up onto Heughscar and back via Helton.
I roasted my courgette (aspiring marrow) with some Parmesan.
