Look Back

It was so hot yesterday, but a bit better today. Yesterday morning when I opened the front door it felt like Backdraft... It made me feel like I was in Spain, I swear the air even smelled like it :-)

Little Ro found lots of old black and white photos of my mum's dad, and she's made a pile to take for framing. I loved this one, taken the second time Ro met Little B before we adopted him from the RSPCA. He was so tiny! Love him SO much! 

I didn't do a whole lot today, but it was nice to relax.

I was a bit sad on Thursday, as my friend H was going to come over for a cup of tea. We walked together on Saturday, but the weather was awful so I was looking forward to just relaxing at home and having a natter. She floored me when she said she was in hospital, and had been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes! She's 37, so it was quite a surprise to me as I thought Type 1 was usually diagnosed in childhood. I couldn't stop thinking about it all day, as I know it comes with a whole host of worries and it can be tricky to manage. 

Hopefully she'll get used to it.... what else can she do really? :-(
