New Clematis

We took out a climbing rose that had mysteriously died off, and replaced it this spring with a clematis. It was just a small plant about 12 inches high when we planted it, but it has really thrived, and all these gorgeous blossoms have suddenly burst forth. 

I've never seen one quite like this, either, with the frilled edges. Nice!
