Finally a flower!

My friend Sally runs something called the sunflower project 2020 and early on in the lockdown offered to send seeds to anybody who wanted them, we planted quite a few and they were growing nicely but when we put them in the garden the squirrels at the heads so we started again but I’ve left them on the roof terrace where they are relatively safe and this morning finally the first flower opened.
