Skirting around the problem

When I bought the skirting - 2 lengths 4.4m long - I knew it wasn’t going to suit 2x3.2 plus 1x1.8 plus 1x 0.6.
Turns out I’d rather (maybe) see a join in the far wall and also have to put filler in the corner joints because I was an inch short, than pay an extra 35 quid for another length - because they only do it in 4.4m lengths.
