TRINCOMALEE AGAIN

No apologies for another shot of her. Her rigging always looks good against a dramatic sky (or any sky, come to that).

As I was walking round the Marina I found that our Council, much criticised for buying a large waste area without much plan for its future, have now created a very pleasant linear park around half of its circumference (extra). I assume this has happened mostly during the lockdown because I don't remember anything there before that, but, whenever it was, our excellent parks department have played another blinder. It looks like a great place for taking a flask and some lunch and peacefully watching the water especially when the sun's out. I wonder what's going to be done with the rest of it.

Oh, and it's all bird- and pollinator-friendly planting. In fact it was full of sparrows as I walked past.
