Comb over

A morning walk with juno round the hill.

Wfh.

Lunch at the local apiary. Nuc into a hive, lots of brood so needed to move to larger hive. Took 5 honey supers off and checked the 2 queenless hives, had my glasses on and in one lots of eggs the other nothing.

Home and more wfh.

Dinner with the ladies.

Out to my new apiary to put nuc into a hive, not as strong as lunchtime one so sugar syrup on top to encourage them to draw comb.

Next the out apiary.

Checked the queenless hive first no eggs still so cleared out the brood box and put in the nuc from swarm split into brood and newspaper on top and the rest of the bees above the newspaper so hopefully will merge ok.

A nuc put into a double nuc getting late and they were not happy. All done and a bit of syrup to get the comb drawn.

Checked in with the laird.
