Love triangle drama

These two were just recovering from a three way scuffle in the water between 2 males and this little female at left.  The 3rd one finally gave up and swam away, then these two came ashore for preening of feathers.
The male looks very pleased with himself but I doubt the female had a say in who won rights to her!
