.. for all you lovely people expressing encouragement for my moaning spine. So much better today , I am happy to report and thankful I am too : ))
Also, a delight arrived in our garden today...an appalling photograph, but you may just make out a fat kereru ( NZ native wood pigeon) calmly perching in one of our golden elms. We saw one in our garden about 15 years ago and not since! Such a treat . We have numbers of tui now...and all rather busy trying to make more tuis at present in these sunny late winter days . We planted 4 Prunus campanulata many years ago ( a favourite of tui) and they are in full bloom just now so attracting these beautiful birds which are nectar feeders.
