Dry heat

The day starts warm and sunny, but cools and darkens. Angus lights the sauna and it’s ready after work. A friend of his is here and Claire joins us too, for a while. Eventually, the thermometer climbs above 60C, which is plenty hot enough for us.

In the house, there are kilos of courgettes to deal with. They’re growing at some ridiculous speed! Tomorrow I will blanche and freeze them.
