2062. More garnet!
My hubby bought me this ring in Prague last year (it seems like forever ago!) so I thought I’d try and balance it inside the lovely sunflowers....not easy to do and the light was rubbish so not the sharpest shot but there it is!
Met up with a friend for coffee and my youngest joined us too....this is turning into a regular once a week coffee/breakfast meet up and a quick look at our Animal Crossing Islands (as all three of us have the game!) and it’s quite fun. It was pouring today so we had to go inside the pub where we meet up and it was busier than last week so I guess it’s starting to pick up again. I’m still a bit nervous going indoors for anything more than 15-20 minutes but having chosen a nice isolated spot when the pub was quiet some people came in and sat on the table right next to us where they couldn’t do the 2m distancing and there were loads of other tables free...so we just got up and moved to another spot where we could maintain 2m distancing. I also noticed that they are trying to squeeze in a few more tables and I guess this will be one of the silly 1m plus places soon.
On the way home on the bus an absolute idiot got on with his mask only over his mouth...then he sat at the back of the bus, pulled his mask right down under his chin then proceeded to shout to the driver about how long it was going to take to get to where he wanted to get off...everyone else was observing the mask wearing...why is this so hard for people? If you cannot wear a mask for medical reasons that’s fine but...why half wear one...or take it off straight away once you’re on the bus? I don’t understand this mentality....it’s compulsory on public transport so why behave like this? I think as time goes on maintaining social distancing and mask wearing is just going to become impossible unless the drivers can enforce it...but I do fully understand why they won’t get involved as anyone behaving like this could turn nasty and be a risk to the driver or other passengers...
No reported deaths in Scotland in the past 24 hours again but a spike in cases in Grampian where the pub infections happened...but the test and protect system seems to be working and people are being tracked down and tested...it is the only way that we can stop this virus killing people by spreading out of control....
