Cutting Through Freddies

I geared my morning walk for a stop at New Seasons to order a couple of sandwiches to go for lunch at friends' back yard, and cut through the parking lot at Fred Meyer on the way home.
We hadn't seen Kathie and Ron for weeks and weeks.
We sat in the shade visiting and watching the antics of their two cats who chased moths all over the place. The amazing thing about the cats (Otis and Suki) is how Ron has such voice control over them. He'd call to them clear across a large yard, and they'd come bounding over to him - no treat involved either.
