More torrential rain, quite strong winds too.
This is the rainiest summer I can remember.
I know from Blip and Zoom that there is drought in many places.
And, near unimaginable, sun too.
I'm so glad we built the raised beds in the shelter of the wall, the plants are dancing rather than flattened. 'Though that day will likely come.
Something a little drier is forecast towards the weekend.
Extra: autumn comfort food. A late and delicious lunch of chilli pie, cauliflower cheese and potatoes dauphinoise. All from the freezer. Apple and blackcurrant crumble for supper.
It's actually been a lovely restful day free of external demands.
