Day 10 Radda in Chianti to Florence

Radda in Chianti to Florence - a mostly downhill 30 mile toodle to our rest stop for 3 nights. Again more stunning countryside. We stopped for coffee in Greve in Chianti which was a bustling town full of cyclists. Then carried on mostly downhill to Florence. It should have been the end of our cycling but thanks to flight cancellations we are forced to spend 3 more days in Tuscany. Two days in Florence then two days cycling back to Pisa.
The bikes are safely tucked up in our spacious apartment just over 1/2 mile from the centre of town. After grocery shopping we wandered into the centre. We are amazed at how busy it is. It's stunningly beautiful of course. Tickets reserved for some attractions over the next two days. There doesn’t seem to be much closed unlike in Siena . We should have plenty of time to explore some quieter parts of town too.
