A quick coastal walk until CMC received a text to go immediately to the dentist.  She has had two appointments in the last two days and a further one the morn.  However, as it turned out, the afternoon nearly saw oilskins come back into fashion as it was rather damp.
News reached us of the outcome of a ‘disappearance’.  A couple we know have been married for 48 years.  Let’s call the man Thorfinn Chalmers for convenience.  He had to go down to the infirmary in Aberdeen, early March, for hospital treatment.  He never came back.  Folk began to wonder.  Last week he turned up back home.  It eventually came out that he’d gone for treatment, fancied the nurse and had been living with her for five months.  It’s being filed under the category ‘You’re never sure’.
I have to make the tea tonight and the morn.  CMC has the recipe book looked out. It’s spread over four pages.  This tells me it’s time for one of my monkey gland injections.
