Black mark ?

Spotted this on the lawn when I went outside (briefly) after tea to get some fresh air. 

The fresh air was needed on account of it having been very, very wet all day long - it is still raining but has at least lessened to a drizzle.  More rain is forecast for tomorrow and then some dry weather and hopefully some more walks. 

However I had plenty to keep me occupied indoors. 

This morning I took part in the first meeting of a zoom poetry group I've joined, which I really enjoyed. 

This evening sees an online committee meeting for a local group I'm involved in with lots to discuss.  

In between times I spent time reading a draft PhD for a student I am still supervising.
