Celebration Cake

Joe and Ruby made a cake to mark results day for Joe. Sophie came over and she’d had the same idea so there was no shortage of pudding options after dinner.

Just as well, as I’d done a few virtual laps around Paris earlier, and I was starving.

Earlier, Mrs S had been along to the supermarket and with the rain hammering down all day I ticked a few things off the weeks to-do list. Unfortunately one was transferring a big chunk of cash to HMRC which took the joy out of ticking that one off.

Ruby, Joe, Eve and Sophie now playing drinking games in the kitchen. It has the look of a long night ahead.
