Sunshiny day

This morning I had the pleasure of driving my younger daughter to Denver to take part in a research project on Huntington’s Disease. She is a control subject, unaffected by the disease but genetically related to one who is. It was a beautiful, stress free drive, ie, no accidents or backups on the highway, so we arrived in plenty of time. Then, I left her to do her thing and went to a nearby coffee shop, read the paper, and took a walk in the sun. I had just taken this photo of perky blooms when she texted she was ready for pickup. Of course, no trip to Denver is complete without a stop at KrispyKreme donuts as a treat for hubby who waited at home.
